Marcel's "Lowlands" project

Interestingly, over the last couple of weeks, I have had two boats registered from Europe called "Inter". It seems Normans were or are sold over there as such. Here's Marcel's Inter which looks like being a good project!

Norman boats are indeed sold under the name of "Inter", That was one of the reasons why I couldn't find any information about it. The dealer who sold the boats until the early 1980's was named Inter. Right now at the moment there is a new dealer who sells boats under the name of Interboat though that isn't related at all. The numbers are related to the size in meters.

Right here I have some pics from the moment I discovered the boat (at the boat cemetery) And a picture of what I called the first bathing. The latest picture's aren't available yet. They will be there soon. And  the deal about the outboard failed, so I have to go back on track, or I have to paddle this summer.

I saved her  form a boats graveyard, after spotting her in a Dutch boat advertising magazine.
Fell in love with the bow and the typical eyes (which later seemed to be characteristic for a Norman boat).
Bit by bit rebuilding the interior and gathering the gadgets for creating a dream! The name will be :"Lowlands" Referring to the country she will cruise and otherwise to the free spirit of pop festival Lowlands in the Netherlands.
The Lowlands is moored in the Vecht, province of Utrecht, Holland
